He was born Abt. 1871 in Ireland. Notes for PATRICK CONNELL: After the death of his wife, Sarah McGee, Patrick's brother and his wife took Mary Agnes and her sister Ann in. Though Mary Agnes took everyone they were placed in St. Joseph's Orphanage (an orphanage) in Totowa, NJ. Her granddaughter, Doris Day remember her grandmother, Mary (May) Connell Day, say that she tracked her father down by finding out his milk rout, and when she found him, she grabbed the horses reins and asked him why he abandoned them. But MARY Agnes and ANNE actually lived with their father's brother's family: John Connell, his wife Katherine Connell and children- found on the 1910 census under Anne's name.
